End of Year Goals

On the first of January this year I sat down and wrote myself a big ol' list of 2016 goals. I recognised both then and soon after that doing this was a pretty stupid thing to do considering I was still in the depths of the worst bout of depression I've ever experienced but I was in complete denial and wanted to carry on 'as normal'. This was very damaging and unrealistic so today I'm here to set things right. I'm feeling so, so much better - better than I ever dreamed I'd feel again - and I'm ready to set myself some goals to carry me through the rest of the year. 2016 has been the worst year of my life but I don't want to write off these final few months just because the past 9 have been shitty.

End Of Year Goals

Go to the cinema with Luke.
Finish my current round of CBT and look into support for when it's over.
 Go somewhere alone.
 Work on my current project.
 Go to town with Jess.
Maintain my current hair style & length. Gotta dye it though!
 Reach 600 Bloglovin' followers.
Send Christmas cards to all of my faves.
Buy 90% of my Christmas presents second-hand or from small businesses.
Stabilise my diet and treat my body right.
Bake my Dad a cake.
Work on establishing a daily routine.
Get back into posting The Sunday Post every week.
Keep up with my habit tracker.
 Complete my Goodreads reading challenge.
Recognise how much I've already achieved this year and how strong I've become.

If I don't complete all of these goals then that's okay. They're more like guidelines as opposed to actual rules.

  4. These are fab goals (or guidelines!) - attainable and interesting! I was thinking about my 2016 goals the other week and you've just give me the little push I needed to properly see what I want to achieve in the next month.
