Lush Fluffy Egg Bath Bomb

Last weekend my Dad went on a little weekend away with my aunt and Nan, so I was roped in to look after his little weirdo cat Weller. In exchange for my services, he had left me and my boyfriend a fully stocked fridge and, for me personally, a little Lush treat! He was ever so kind enough to buy me the Fluffy Egg, which is one of their limited edition Easter 2015 bath bombs. I actually had tried the Fluffy Egg last year and loved it, so I was looking forward to using it again!

Lush Jumping Juniper Shampoo Bar

I've been completely dedicated to using Lush shampoo bars for the past few years. They're convenient, eco-friendly and there's basically one for everyone - no matter your hair type. I've been a huge lover of Seanik (review here) for around 3 years now, but I decided it was time to treat my hair to something a bit different, so I had a quick chat with the sales assistant (who was lovely) and purchased the Jumping Juniper shampoo bar.

First Impressions: 4 New Reads

So, I got a Kindle. I'm slightly disgusted with myself, because I've never liked the idea of them, BUT it was a gift and I thought I'd give it a try. I actually quite like it. Especially the super-cool feature which has aided todays post. After toying around on the Kindle store, I realised that I could download 'samples' of books I wanted. So I did just that, and I thought I'd do a little First Impressions post about the books that I downloaded.

Series Review: The Selection Trilogy by Kiera Cass

The Selection Trilogy is one of the easiest-to-read book series I own. I literally read all of the books within a few hours each, and although I doubt the story will stay with me forever, they are such light-hearted page-turners that I thought today I'd share with you my thoughts on the trilogy as a whole. I know that Kiera Cass has released a few novellas to accompany the series (The Prince, The Guard and The Queen) which I'm yet to read, but I will get my hands on them soon and write reviews if you guys want me to. Also, just to be clear, there is a new book coming out in May named The Heir, which is the official fourth book to this series - BUT because it doesn't hold the exact same story line and characters as The Selection, I'm still calling these three books a trilogy.

Updates | Life, Blog & New Things

For reasons that I'm sure you'll gather from my Twitter feed, I decided to take this week off of blogging. But I still have plenty of things I want to talk about and share, so I thought I'd just sit at my laptop and type up an Updates post to fill you guys in on some things that have been happening recently.

February Favourites

February was a big month of favourites for me. Obviously I would add the All Time Low & You Me At Six concert to this list, as well as The Walking Dead, Ribena and Lush baths. I mentioned in my last favourites post that I wanted to start watching American Horror Story: Coven, but I still haven't gotten around to it! *sobs*

The Happy List #4

February has been a bit of a mixed bag for me. On the one hand, a lot of things made me really happy & excited. But on the other, especially towards the end of this month, I received a ton of bad news all at once. I'm doing my best to remain positive, not only for myself but for the people around me, and I'm hoping that there isn't any more bad news to come. BUT for now, lets talk about the happy things!
