The Girl
Hello! I'm Lauren, a 21 year old Ravenclaw, vegetarian and Eeveelution trainer from the south-west. I currently live with my family & my cat Luna. I have a penchant for lifestyle blogs, fictional worlds, vegan baking and the ocean. My favourite colour is pink but for some reason I tend to wear a lot of black. Up until very recently I preferred crisps over chocolate but now I can't get enough of the sweet stuff. My favourite PokĆ©mon is Squirtle and my favourite Disney princess is Rapunzel. I read a lot of fiction, mainly YA, and I go through phases with genres. At the moment I'm on a contemporary kick.

The Blog
I've been writing What Lauren Did Today since 2014, can you believe?! After running a beauty-focused blog for a year (didn't we all back in the day?!), I decided I wanted to branch out a little more and throw all of my thoughts onto a new blog, featuring my favourite things: life, food, books, cruelty free beauty and writing. And thus, this blog was created.

Not only do I talk about the topics aforementioned, I also tend to write a lot about self-care, mental health and happiness. I will talk openly about my anxiety and depression until I'm blue in the face and find it incredibly therapeutic to share my experiences dealing with both of those things. One of my aims for What Lauren Did Today is for it to be a safe, comfortable place for people dealing with mental illnesses to hang out and I'll always lend an ear to anyone that needs it.

You'll find new posts on What Lauren Did Today a handful of times weekly and I make an effort to share my Sunday Posts, a weekly life update, every - you guessed it - Sunday. The rest of the days of the week are fair game as far as other posts go and there are no real rules applied to what I dream up.

If you'd like to ask me a question about my blog, or would simply like to have a little chin-wag, then you can email me on: whatlaurendidtoday@gmail.com. I'm also on Instagram (@whatlaurendidtoday), Twitter (@whatlaaurendid), Pinterest (whatlaurendid) and Goodreads.
