September Favourites

I had so many favourites this month. So many, in fact, that I forgot about most of them and had to re-photograph this post because I left too many things out. In the end it worked out better because I prefer this round of photos so silver lining and all that.

Chunky Fashion Favourites
I have been after a mustard knit literally since this time last year and I was never able to find one that I liked. Until I found this beaut in a charity shop! It's from F&F at Tesco and is the most gorgeous chunky jumper I ever did see. It's a really nice shade of mustard too - not too yellow and not too orange. Plus is was only £2.50! Another fashion favourite of mine has been my chunky black boots. I actually got these from Primark for £18 but I feel like they look so much more expensive. They're a lot higher than anything I currently own & I'm constantly switching between these and my other flat cut-out boots.

Vegan Beauty
Apparently mustard is my shade this year, because the Barry M Gelly polish in Mustard has barely left my fingertips this month. I currently have a different shade on (because I was wearing the jumper & felt it may have been a bit much) and I really miss it. My second beauty favourite has been my Makeup Revolution Golden Sugar Blush palette. Whenever I do a full face of make-up I always use this palette, and the highlight is TO DIE FOR. It's so beautiful and shimmery.
Lifestyle
I read Clockwork Prince and Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare again recently and I didn't think it was possible, but I fell in love with Will Herondale all over again. I prefer Clockwork Princess to Prince purely because I feel like it's more explosive and emotional. Finally, my 3DS. I feel like this is always featured in my favourites around A/W, as that's when I get really into Animal Crossing. As it happens, I recently re-arranged all of my fruit trees so they have their own sections of my town, plus I'm waking every day to new hybrid flowers. I can't wait until December comes around and my town is covered in snow - that's my favourite season on Animal Crossing!

Other favourites include Pretty Little Liars, Strictly Come Dancing, She's Kinda Hot by 5SOS, the Rugby World Cup and Birds Eye vegetable fingers. YUM.

  2. I love that mustard sweater, I'm jealous because I was hunting for one as well all last fall! Nice find, it's even better you got it so cheap! I'm thinking of getting a mustard cardigan. It is a perfect color for fall, after all.
And shucks...my poor villagers...I haven't played Animal Crossing in so long! I bet all my friends moved out. There goes my perfect town status :(

    1. I'd love a mustard cardigan! I think they look so cute with black jeans and a basic white top. I'm such a seasonal AC player - my town suffers during the summer but becomes beautiful again in the A/W! x

  3. Love the sweater! Charity shops are full of gems - I recently bought a thick knitted bobbly black and gold glitter cardigan and ohmygoodness it's made my life! I also found the perfect cropped jumper, it's so sleek and lovely. And a dip hem skirt! All were only a few quid each. god damn I love charity shops.
