This outfit is very simple, but my new scarf made me want to photograph it. Isn't it lovely? I've been looking for a good tartan scarf for absolutely bloody ages, and finally came across this one in Primark for just £4! It's black and red with some paler blue streaks running through and I don't know if it's really long or I'm just really short haha! (Although I definitely am short). I paired it with some other simple pieces, as I wanted the scarf to be the statement piece: my black Miss Selfridge leather leggings, a simple black cardi from Primark and a white vest. This scarf is definitely going to be my go-to item this season!
I bought this scarf on a little trip into town with my mum. We went to Lush and Primark, bought a Shakeaway for the bus ride home and got our nails done! I went with a deep burgundy Shellac shade, with glitter on two fingers. I've never had Shellac before, I'm really pleased with how it came out - it's so shiny! I also picked up a few Christmas presents (mostly for the boyfriend) which I'm really happy with. It was so lovely to have a proper day out with my mum, as she works such long hours it's hard for her to find the time to go out at all!
I really want a tartan scarf! I haven't seen any in my local primark, need to find a bigger one and buy one ASAP :) x

I've been after one for ages and I'm so glad I bought it! I went to Primark again yesterday and they didn't have any either, I think they're selling a bit too well haha x
