Christmas Gift Guide: Gifts That Give Back

I did a gift guide like this last year and I was really proud of it, so I decided to do an updated version this year! I figured that there's always someone on your to-buy-for list that doesn't 'want' anything, so why not donate to a charity in their name? Or introduce them to packaging-free beauty products? All of the gifts featured are either great for the environment or give back to charity in some way - and the beauty gifts are, of course, cruelty-free and vegan.

Aztec Travel Mug - £2.50, Primark. I feel like a lot of bloggers are gonna say NO to this gift - how are they gonna get their Starbucks Instagram shots if they bring their own cup?! But think of all the money you'll save by making your coffee at home and drinking it from your own pretty cup! If you're really worried about the Insta shots, just buy one that matches your theme haha!

Jason & the Argan Oil Shampoo Bar - £5.95, Lush. I've been exclusively using Lush shampoo bars for nearly three years now, and I don't miss bottled shampoo at all! These bars are said to last between 80 & 100 washes, depending on the length and thickness of your hair. I can totally vouch for this - my shampoo bars last me anywhere between 6-9 months. If you'd like to read some reviews on the shampoo bars I've personally used: Jumping Juniper, Brazilliant & Seanik.

Deliciously Ella Cook Book - £9, Amazon. I feel like this is the holy grail cookbook at the moment - everyone seems to be talking about it! Packed full of gluten-free, sugar-free and dairy-free recipes, it's the perfect companion to a vegan lifestyle.

Disney Canvas Tote Bag - £1, Poundland. This is actually my photo of my tote bag, as I couldn't find it online! But I do love this tote - I chose the Belle design, although they also have Cinderalla, Tinkerbell, Aurora, Minnie Mouse, Elsa, Olaf... the list goes on! They're a really good size, too - not too big but small enough to tuck into your bag. Perfect for any Disney lover and amazing for the environment!

Safe Drinking Water for 10 People - £10, Oxfam. Water is such an essential thing to everyone, yet for some people it's really difficult to obtain safely. Give the gift of water this Christmas - such a simple gift yet so important.

Adopt an Animal - £3 per month, WWF. There's a pretty wide variety of animals you can adopt through WWF, including gorillas, turtles, rhinos, pandas and penguins. I feel like this gift would be perfect for a child that loves animals, as you also receive a cuddly toy and special magazines through-out the year,

School Supplies - £8, Oxfam. Every child deserves an education, and this simple gift can help stock schools full of necessary supplies including notebooks and writing utensils.

Sky Dancer Bath Bomb - £3.95, Lush. Profits from this bath bomb will help fund equipment to satellite tag endangered hen harriers. I've personally used this bath bomb and really liked it - as it dissolves it looks like the bird is flying around your bath!
