Lush Floating Flower Bath Bomb

I'm very much a sucker for any Lush limited collection, and this year's Valentines Day selection was no disappointment. As I'm sure many of you know, the star of the Valentines collection was definitely the Unicorn Horn, but today's post is all about one of the bath bombs available: the Floating Flower. My boyfriend wonderfully bought this for me for my birthday (you can see what else I got for my birthday here) and on Saturday night (preceded by a huge The Walking Dead marathon) I plonked it in my bath.

I was actually really impressed with this bath bomb. The scent isn't something I'd usually pick out, but I still found it pleasant: it's quite a sensual, girly scent, but isn't too sweet or floral. Certainly a scent that you could share with your boyfriend/girlfriend if you wanted to... It also took for-bloody-ever to fizz out. Honestly, I gave up taking photos and just climbed in and it was still going a good ten minutes later. It gives off a few clouds of different colours as it fizzes through it's colourful layers, but the end result is a gorgeous raspberry pink. It's super foamy too, and the foam sits above the water. It kind of reminds me of a pint of beer, but there you go. I didn't find that my skin felt particularly moisturised or anything afterwards, but it was still a lovely bath bomb experience.

If you can find them in store, I'd really recommend this bath bomb if you like floral scents. I also really liked the colour that the water turned afterwards - it's my second favourite Lush water colour, after the Golden Wonder's pale blue!

This bath bomb is suitable for vegetarians and vegans. You can buy the Floating Flower here or in-store for £3.50.

  1. This is so pretty! I've seen Unicorn Horn everywhere but whenever I've gone to pick it up it's been out of stock, fingers crossed I can get my hands on this one x
