February Favourites

February was a big month of favourites for me. Obviously I would add the All Time Low & You Me At Six concert to this list, as well as The Walking Dead, Ribena and Lush baths. I mentioned in my last favourites post that I wanted to start watching American Horror Story: Coven, but I still haven't gotten around to it! *sobs*

I only have one beauty favourite this month, so let's get that out of the way first. This isn't even the one that I've used (obviously as it's not open...) but I threw the other sachet away like a n00b. The general point is - Superdrug's Sachet Face Masks. I used the Cucumber Clay mask (review here) and it cleared up my skin a treat.
Next up, my favourite books of the month. These are actually the only two books I finished this month, because I've been part reading HP & The GOF and Matched and I finished these two within a few hours each. The One by Kiera Cass is the final book in The Selection trilogy which I read last year, and although it wasn't the best book I've ever read, I enjoyed it and read it within a few hours. I might do a series review on the Selection trilogy, so let me know if you're interested in that. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell is actually one of my favourite books, and this is the third time I've read it since buying it late last year. It's given me a huge book hangover though.
My 'tech' favourites of this month include two Nintendo DS games - Animal Crossing: New Leaf for 3DS and The Urbz for DS. I swear I always mention Animal Crossing in these kinds of posts, but I think it's because I usually just play it during the winter and not the summer. So when I do play it, I play it hardcore. The Urbz is a game I played a ton when I was little, but I've really gotten back into it lately as a kind of 'chill out' game, as I know how to complete all the missions already etc. I've also been playing some Minecraft on my Xbox, and The Sims 3 on my laptop. This month has totally been the gaming month for me. Finally, my final 'tech' favourite has been listening to All Time Low & You Me At Six songs (obviously).

Finally, two random favourites: my bowler hat and Oats & More Almond cereal. This cereal is soooo addictive for me and I rarely buy it, so when I do it's like a little treat. My bowler hat was featured in my February Haul (here), but I've just been loving wearing it lately. I have a really simple and casual style, like I don't make an effort at all, but when I wear it I just look a bit more pulled-together.

  2. Awesome stuff, Lauren! NOT blaming you for excessively posting about Animal Crossing. That game is... life? Really adore your bowler hat, and I'm definitely gonna try listening to You Me At Six. Got any song recommendations? Xx
