A Day At The Stables

A few days ago I wasted away a few hours in the company of my family and our horses. It was so nice to be in the country side with no wifi signal, where I couldn't be distracted from appreciating the amazing views and patting the horses. I think it's so refreshing to take space from our busy lives once in a while and to just relaaaax. Pictured here we have my two horses: a little Shetland pony called Jackson and a big, robust Section C mare called Nelly. We also own another horse (Marley) but he's so tall and despite his friendly and playful personality, he scares me to death. So I sort of avoided him haha! On the journey there, we stopped in a little chipshop and bought two fishcakes and some chips for my sister and I to share, which we did in true caravan style by eating from bright pink plastic plates. I also took John Green's Paper Towns with me (it's my current read) and my notebook and a pen in case writing/blog inspiration hit me. xx

  1. I have already read 'The fault in our stars', but 'Paper Towns' is still on my list.
Sometimes it's good to get away from a town and spend a day on the countryside :)

    1. I used to ride when I was younger, but my little sister competes in shows and everything! She's so brave haha, I'd rather groom them than ride! xx
