What I Got For My Birthday 2015

As my 'What I Got For Christmas' post went down so well, I thought I'd do a little 'What I Got For My Birthday' style post. I sometimes treat this blog like a diary, especially when it comes to personal things like this, and I thought it would be nice to look back on.

My boyfriend honestly spoilt me this year. He bought me Beauty & The Beast on DVD, Season One of The Walking Dead, a SpongeBob Squarepants 'Whale of a Birthday' DVD (inside joke), A POP! Daenaeys Targaryen, a little 'lucky dip' of crystals AND the Lush Floating Flower bath bomb. His mum gave me the two books pictured: The One by Kiera Cass and Call The Midwife by Jennifer Worth. She also got me a huge box of Ferrero Rocher which is amazing. As for my parents, my mum bought me a gorgeous bouquet of roses and a ticket to a concert. My dad gave me some money towards my holiday next year! I also got a little origami bird from my art therapy group, which has little messages written on the inside :) Plus my little sister made me a 'scroll' made from wallpaper, all tied up with a floral ribbon, that said "I love you to the moon and back, never off of track, love Leigh"
I think 20 is quite a weird age, because you're not 21 so it's nothing special, but it also means that you're no longer a 'teen'. I didn't really have any plans for my birthday, but I did have a nice impromptu day out. My sister, my boyfriend and I took a trip up to the Bristol Museum at the top of Park Street, and then hopped over to road to meet my Dad at The Berkley for lunch. I then sort of fell into Primark before getting the bus home and watching Hansel and Gretel:Witch Hunters on Netflix (which is actually a pretty good film). I also had a little birthday party on Animal Crossing: New Leaf, watched an episode of GoT Season 3 started a new save on The Urbz DS. As you can tell, I live birthdays pretty wildly.

I'm so pleased with what I got for my birthday this year! I'm dying to start watching The Walking Dead, and to begin reading The One. But for now, please excuse me whilst I go and eat some more birthday cake. xx

Disclaimer: I am NOT writing this post to brag at all. I just wanted to document my birthday.
