Gifting | Bloom Candles
Monday, 12 December 2016
I've finished my Christmas shopping!! And as I mentioned in my 'Why I'm Buying Second-Hand Gifts' post, what I didn't buy second-hand I wanted to source from small businesses. Instead of buying Luke's mum a Yankee Candle like we do most years I placed an order with Bloom Candles and today I'm here to rave about them!
Christmas Gift Guide: Gifts for Harry Potter Fans
Wednesday, 23 November 2016
I'm really into Harry Potter again at the moment (scratch that, aren't I always?) and I feel the releases of The Cursed Child and Fantastic Beasts have also re-ignited the spark in a lot of other people across the word. Today I thought I'd share some gifts perfect for the budding wizard in your life ~
What I Got My Boyfriend For Christmas
Monday, 28 December 2015
I can't count the number of times I'd uttered the words "I can't wait to give Luke his presents" on the run up to Christmas, but I know for a fact that I'd said them once or twice (or five times) here on the blog. So I thought that now that he's opened them and assured me that I was right to be excited about them, I'd show you what all the fuss was about! I got him one 'main' present and a few smaller 'main' ones, then I just did him a stocking. I hope you don't think that I'm doing this in any malicious way, or that I'm bragging - I'm just so happy with what I got him and we both want to remember it! I also thought that it might be helpful for anyone who finds the men in their life difficult to buy for - Christmas may be out of the way, but they do have a birthday before the next one!
What I Got For Christmas 2015
Sunday, 27 December 2015
SURPRISE! I bet you didn't expect to see me pop up in your Twitter/Bloglovin' feed this afternoon, did you?! It's rare for me to upload a post at a time that isn't 8am, but the blog lighting Gods dictated that I couldn't photograph this post until about an hour ago. So here we are at 2pm!
Things I'd Like For Christmas 2015
Thursday, 3 December 2015
BLOGMAS DAY THREE.
Since I've been dishing out Christmas gift guides left, right and centre since the beginning of November, I figured that it was about time I showed you what I'd like to get for Christmas this year. Of course these are all material things, so my other personal Christmas wishes (such as happiness, love, health for my family and a roast dinner) are being hung on the Christmas tree instead. I haven't exactly asked anyone for any of these gifts (aside from one or two) and I genuinely don't mind if I don't get them. This is just what I'd like!
Christmas Gift Guide: Gifts for 90s Kids
Thursday, 26 November 2015

We all love a bit of nostalgia don't we? At least I know I do, which would explain why I'm currently playing Spyro: Enter The Dragonfly on my old PlayStation 2 at the moment (those graphics tho). So today I thought I'd throw together a gift guide dedicated to all of the things I loved as a child. (I was going to add a Tamagotchi into this post but, ya know, most of us are now attempting to adult now and I know how hard it was looking after them at school, let alone at work.)
Christmas Gift Guide: Gifts That Give Back
Friday, 20 November 2015

I did a gift guide like this last year and I was really proud of it, so I decided to do an updated version this year! I figured that there's always someone on your to-buy-for list that doesn't 'want' anything, so why not donate to a charity in their name? Or introduce them to packaging-free beauty products? All of the gifts featured are either great for the environment or give back to charity in some way - and the beauty gifts are, of course, cruelty-free and vegan.
Christmas Gift Guide: £1 Stocking Fillers
Tuesday, 10 November 2015
I love stockings. And more importantly, I love stocking fillers. I'll generally get socks, pants, tea light candles, chocolates, sweets... all the good stuff! So today I thought I'd throw together a stocking filler kinda gift guide, but with a little twist: all of the gifts listed in this post are £1 or less!
Christmas Gift Guide: Gifts for Book Lovers
Wednesday, 4 November 2015
Welcome to my first Christmas gift guide of 2015!
Now that Halloween is well and truly out of the way, I can embrace my favourite time of the year without judgement. For me, Christmas isn't just about one day. Christmas begins on the 1st of November and the excitement builds every single day between then and the 25th December. I've already done a lot of my Christmas shopping (I know!) but just in case you haven't, I thought I'd throw together a few gift guides to help you out this festive season. And I know it may only be the 4th of November... but I'd rather get my gift guides up too early than too late! What I Got For My Birthday 2015
Monday, 9 February 2015
As my 'What I Got For Christmas' post went down so well, I thought I'd do a little 'What I Got For My Birthday' style post. I sometimes treat this blog like a diary, especially when it comes to personal things like this, and I thought it would be nice to look back on.
What I Got For Christmas 2014
Saturday, 27 December 2014
Well, well - look at me uploading a post in the afternoon! I was planning on writing up this post as soon as I photographed it earlier but Animal Crossing life got in the way and here I am, typing it up at 4pm. Lateness aside, how was your guys' Christmas?! I had a very lovely three days: I went to a Church service for the first time on Christmas Eve, I ate three servings of roast potatoes on Christmas Day and I spent Boxing Day cooking a mock Christmas dinner with my Dad. I also opened some amazing gifts!

Welcome to Part Four of my Christmas Gift Guide 2014. Have a friend/family member that is passionate about charity projects, or simply doesn't 'want' anything for Christmas this year? Here are my 'Gifts That Give Back' picks, which are either great for the environment or give back to charity. Instead of buying them that bottle of their favourite alcohol, why not give the gift of food or a mosquito net in their name? Or maybe you have a little one in your life who loves animals - adopt an animal for the year! I've also added in a few eco-friendly things, such as a Grow Your Own Herb set, a canvas shopping bag and a travel mug for those coffee fiends. x

Welcome to part three of my Christmas Gift Guide 2014! This is quite possibly my favourite collection of gifts so far, and I honestly would love to receive any of them for Christmas! I am honestly the biggest nerd. This guide is a bit more unisex compared to my others and I've featured a top/jumper for men and women as well as the other gifts in general being suitable for anyone. If I had to choose out a few for myself as favourites, I think they'd be the Middle Earth mug and the Jon Snow little figurine, although I'd prefer it to be of Daenerys. Sorry about all of the mugs, but there were so many amazing options and I love them all haha!

(No judgement, I have been told firmly several times by my boyfriend/dad that it's too early for mine *sobs*) I have chosen a selection of clothing and just plain ol' novelty for these gifts, although my favourites are the Lush Golden Wonder Bath Bomb and the Miss Selfridge Necklace!
Christmas Gift Guide: Gifts For Animal Lovers
Wednesday, 5 November 2014
L - R. Next Fox Hot Water Bottle, £10.00 // John Lewis Dachshund A5 Notebook, £7.00 // New Look Dalmatian Purse, £5.00 (on sale!) // River Island Cat Selfies Picture Book, £6.99 // River Island Cat Eye Mask, £6.00 // New Look Fluffy Panda Slippers, £10.99 // Etsy Cat Ears Ring, £6.13 // Not On The High Street Personalised Labrador Christmas Ornaments, £12.50 // Not On The High Street Stirrup Necklace, £25.00
Welcome to Part One of my Christmas Gift Guide 2014! To kick off this little series, I thought I'd share my top 9 gifts for animal lovers. I am a huge cat person, but my boyfriend is a dog person and my mum is a horse person so tried my best to add in something for everyone to this list. There was actually a surprising amount of options to choose from - especially from the high street. River Island and New Look had amazing options, as did Not On The High Street and Etsy. Some of these things (including the eye mask, slippers and selfie book) are also available in other animal designs so there's something for everyone.
