The Happy List #1

It's 1pm on a Sunday afternoon, I'm waiting on a roast dinner and my dad's cat Weller is prancing around me trying to chew on my feet... what better time to reflect on life? To be honest with you, I've had quite a rough few weeks but what's important is that I can see through all of the crap to focus on all of the good things that have happened recently, and I thought I'd share them with you!

one. Luna. She went in to be spayed, micro-chipped and vaccinated on Monday and I was a complete nervous wreck from the minute I left her at the vets until the minute I picked her up. Thankfully everything went really well! She has a bald little hip where they shaved her for surgery, but she's bounced back so quickly - she's back to climbing up the curtains and attacking my hair at random moments... Speaking of Luna, I was thinking of doing an updated post on her since I've had her quite a while now - what do you think?

two. Collection Lip Butters. A few days ago I had the sudden urge to buy a lip crayon - something that I've never actually owned - and took a trip the following day to Boots. I walked out with three of the Collection offerings as they were on three-for-two! I'm loving using them and the colours I picked are such flattering, day-to-day shades.

three. This here blog. I am so overwhelmed and grateful for how amazing my blog has been doing recently. I'm getting more comments, page views and followers than I ever thought possible! I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who follows/reads my blog - I appreciate it so so much!

four. I'm a Celebrity. I absolutely hate watching reality TV programmes, but this one I just can't miss! I'm not going to lie, I don't know who 95% of the people in there are, but they're absolutely hilarious! Jimmy is possibly my current favourite, he's so funny. It's been nice to sit down with my family every evening to watch it.

five. Little thoughtful things. Like my dad buying me the bunch of flowers I eyed up whilst shopping earlier. And my boyfriend waking up super early yesterday morning so we could walk and get a McDonalds breakfast. And my mum giving me pep talks when I'm having a bad day. And my little sister offering me hugs whenever I'm sad.

six. Wearing necklaces. This seems totally random, but I never wear jewellery ever. But when I went to see Mockingjay, I put on my pale blue New Look jumper and threw on this chain detail necklace from Primark and thought it looked so nice! I definitely want to start experimenting more with jewellery as it makes such a difference to an outfit!

So those are six things that have made me happy recently! How have you guys been? I have a class to attend tomorrow and I'm bloody terrified, but hopefully thinking about these things will keep me going!
