My September To-Do List

Happy September 1st!
I for one could not be happier about the beginning of this fresh new month and all of the Autumnal possibilities it holds - for the first time in a really long time I feel happy and excited about life. I'm grateful that I have lots of festivities to look forward to and that it's now semi-acceptable to speak publicly about it! In order to remind myself of the happy things to come and also to keep myself motivated and focussed on my recovery, I thought I'd throw together a little September to-do list. I did suffer with a bad bout of SAD towards the end of last year that also tied in with my anxiety relapse so not only am I planning lots of fun things to do, I'm also beginning to take steps towards keeping that at bay for as long as I can.

Things I'd Like To Do This September:

1. Purchase and review every Lush Halloween bath bomb.
2. Wear my GOSH Velvet Matte lipstick in Raisin every. single. day.
3. Get the bus one stop. I can do this.
4. Read a book.
5. Wake up at 7am, go to sleep at 11pm.
6. Schedule an evening bike ride into my daily routine.
7. Keep myself around people as much as possible once my family go back to work/school.
8. Go to (at least) one CBT session.
9. Go to the stables and bask in the crisp, clean air.
10. Source and invest in a pair of welligogs.
11. Figure out how best to capture and present my Animal Crossing: New Leaf town tour.
12. Maintain my spending ban. (Lush products fall under the 'necessity' heading.)

I don't have any particular plans this month as my brother, sister, boyfriend and Mum will all be abandoning me on September 5th as they all return to work and school after the most glorious six weeks break. I have to admit I'm very nervous about this as it means I'll be alone for at least 7 hours a day again and it does very little for my mood. My plan, though, is to maintain contact with other humans as much as possible - whether that's through calling my dad, cycling around my local area or visiting Luke at his house between his shifts.
