Things I'd Like To Do This Week

Today, I come to you with a confession. This is something that I've been denying for what feels like my entire life but today I'm going to come clean: I hate to do lists. They make me feel overwhelmed, stressed and like I couldn't possibly have enough time to do all these the things that I 'have to do'. So today I'm going to try and put a little spin on the 'regular' to do list and share a list of things that I'd like to do instead. (Idk why but even the wording of that makes me feel a lot calmer.)

 Eat more vegetables.
 Bake something.
Go on the bus and travel just one stop.
Go on another Father-Daughter adventure day with my dad.
Finish laying Leigh's paths on her Animal Crossing: New Leaf for her.
Catch up to Luke on Pokémon Y.
Plan blog content for the next two weeks.
Finish Legend of Korra season 3 with mum, Leigh and Luke.
Take a bath in the evening with candles lit and a Lush bubble bar.
 Paint my nails.
Vlog more on Snapchat. (Username: whatlaurendidx)
Finish reading Seed & start a new book.

  1. Best of luck with your bus adventure lovely. I know how you must be feeling on that front, just remember that you can often already see the stop in front and it'll be much easier <3 and oh gosh - I need to repair so many of my ACNL paths! x

  3. Haha I think I'm the opposite with snapchat. I think I'm posting too much and I have a problem and I need to stop.

  7. I like the idea of a "things I'd like to do this week" list instead of a "to-do this week" list. To-do lists can be super daunting! I hope you managed to do a few of these this week :) x www.aimeeraindropwrites.co.uk x

  8. Aw I love a good list! Something else that might work for you - what about a list of things that you have done? Even if it's not much, it's a way to think oh, I have actually done stuff today.

  9. I like the 'like-to-do' instead of 'to-do' list. I think it makes you wan to get do things and be more productive while remaining in a better state of mind. Good luck completing this list!
