Lush Intergalactic Bath Bomb

It's been a long time since I've been really wow-ed by a bath bomb. I went through a huge bubble bar phase at the beginning of the year but when the Lush summer collection dropped in stores a few weeks ago it re-ignited my passion for a good bath bomb. I've already used Frozen and Yoga Bomb and loved them, but Intergalactic is on another level.

From the moment I dropped this bomb into the water, a surge of deep blue colouring and glitter exploded into the water. And the glitter - there's SO much glitter. I used this earlier on today and I've had to hand wash the bath to get all of it out! It makes the water so beautiful though. I felt like I was in a snow globe or something. The scent is one of my favourites, and is so refreshing - just what I needed as a pick-me-up on a lazy Sunday. It's main notes are peppermint and grapefruit, but there's a little undertone of cedarwood to mellow things out.
As you can probably judge from the exterior of Intergalactic, there are a few different colours that seep out as it dissolves. It takes a good amount of time to fizz out, meaning there's enough time to enjoy the colour show (and take a good Instagram, ya feel me). There's also popping candy, which is a fun addition.

Intergalactic is £3.95 and is available online and in store. If you only pick one bath bomb from the new Summer collection - make it this one. You won't regret it!

  1. This looks amazing although I'm not a fan of glittery products! Stupid question but does all the glitter stick to you when you get out?

  3. Whoaaa. That is beautiful! I've actually yet to try out a bath bomb since there's no LUSH near me, but if I ever do pass by one, I'll have to try to pick this one up.

  4. It really sucks that the new summer line isn't in stock in the stores near me. All these Lush blog posts literally put my wallet in a lot of pain. oops?

    1. Aw no! Maybe try your luck online? My local store doesn't stock Intergalactic so I have to drive really far away to get one! (and I totally do haha!) x

  7. Intergalactic is such a pretty one, for me I almost prefer it to the Experimenter which has more of a one off wow factor. Love the smell of this one too - lovely photos btw! x

    1. I haven't used the Experimenter yet, but from what I've seen of reviews Intergalactic leaves the bath water a much prettier colour haha! Thank you (: xx
