My Experience Contacting The Samaritans UK

[The Samaritans is UK/ROI service]

Hello everyone! Todays post is going to be a little bit different than usual, but I feel like it's a subject that could potentially be quite helpful to some people. I'm going to be talking about the Samaritans, which is a support service for people with mental health issues/people who are having a hard time. During March this year, something happened in my personal life that I needed some help to deal with, so I reached out to the Samaritans through email. Today, I thought I'd share my experience and raise some awareness for the service. Also, just to make you guys aware: you don't have to be suicidal to contact the Samaritans. You don't have to have a history of mental health issues. I wasn't feeling suicidal when I contacted them at all, it was mostly because of anxiety reasons.

My Literary Bucket List

I am a huge lover of bucket lists (and just lists in general), and whilst I was thinking about my realistic one, I began to think about all of the amazing things I would like to do within my favourite world: the fictional world. So my Literary Bucket List was created!

♥ Visit District 4 and walk along the shore
♥ Flick through Katniss's family book
  Live in Hobbiton, The Shire
Visit The Lonely Mountain and Rivendell
♥ Read every book in the Hogwarts library
  Go shopping in Diagon Alley
Take a tour of my Common Room (Slytherin)
Discover what my Patronus and Boggart would be
Listen to a mixtape with Charlie
♥ Go to Amsterdam with Augustus Waters
♥ Visit the Sinclair family island
♥ Go on a tour of the London Institute with Will
♥ Take a walk along the Thames with Jem
♥ Spend an hour talking to Alaska about her life
Try on one of America's dresses
♥ Check in on Lia and see how she is

Lush Fluffy Egg Bath Bomb

Last weekend my Dad went on a little weekend away with my aunt and Nan, so I was roped in to look after his little weirdo cat Weller. In exchange for my services, he had left me and my boyfriend a fully stocked fridge and, for me personally, a little Lush treat! He was ever so kind enough to buy me the Fluffy Egg, which is one of their limited edition Easter 2015 bath bombs. I actually had tried the Fluffy Egg last year and loved it, so I was looking forward to using it again!

Lush Jumping Juniper Shampoo Bar

I've been completely dedicated to using Lush shampoo bars for the past few years. They're convenient, eco-friendly and there's basically one for everyone - no matter your hair type. I've been a huge lover of Seanik (review here) for around 3 years now, but I decided it was time to treat my hair to something a bit different, so I had a quick chat with the sales assistant (who was lovely) and purchased the Jumping Juniper shampoo bar.

First Impressions: 4 New Reads

So, I got a Kindle. I'm slightly disgusted with myself, because I've never liked the idea of them, BUT it was a gift and I thought I'd give it a try. I actually quite like it. Especially the super-cool feature which has aided todays post. After toying around on the Kindle store, I realised that I could download 'samples' of books I wanted. So I did just that, and I thought I'd do a little First Impressions post about the books that I downloaded.
