February Favourites

February was a big month of favourites for me. Obviously I would add the All Time Low & You Me At Six concert to this list, as well as The Walking Dead, Ribena and Lush baths. I mentioned in my last favourites post that I wanted to start watching American Horror Story: Coven, but I still haven't gotten around to it! *sobs*

The Happy List #4

February has been a bit of a mixed bag for me. On the one hand, a lot of things made me really happy & excited. But on the other, especially towards the end of this month, I received a ton of bad news all at once. I'm doing my best to remain positive, not only for myself but for the people around me, and I'm hoping that there isn't any more bad news to come. BUT for now, lets talk about the happy things!

Superdrug Cooling Cucumber Clay Sachet Face Mask

My skin has been playing up a lot recently, with oiliness and spots galore (there's a nice visual for you) which is SO unlike my usual dry-sensitive type. My cleanser has been working nicely to get rid of the oil and cleanse away the spots, but I was just feeling a bit gross in general because of it, and decided that the perfect pick-me-up would be a face mask. I hopped along to Superdrug and discovered their sachet masks were on 3-for-2, so I spent a little while umming and ahhing until I walked out with three, including the Cooling Cucumber Clay mask.

February Haul | Primark, Paperchase & Superdug!

Can I just say: HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE MY NEW SHOES? Everyone I know bloody hates them haha, but I adore them. I don't even know how to describe what style of shoe they are, but I think they're gorgeous. I have quite a preppy/simplistic/Spencer Hastings kind of style, and my two purchases from Primark fit my look perfectly. The shoes were £12, and I also bought this black bowler-type hat for £7. I don't suit tighter hats (ie beanies) AT ALL and the floppy hats with wide brims terrify me, but this is the perfect size. Also from Primark I nabbed this gorgeous grey long sleeved top, that has a burgundy lace trim in the sale for £3! Total bargain.

Wetherspoons, Bristol | The Veggie's English Breakfast

The Berkley Wetherspoons, 15-19 Queens Road, Clifton, Bristol BS8 1QE | 0117 927 9550 | Sun - Thurs 8am - 12am | Fri - Sat 8am - 1am

If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, I'm sure you know that it was my birthday last week. I turned 20, and I wanted a kind of no-fuss, no frills day. So I went to the Bristol Museum with my boyfriend and younger sister (she had an in-service day at school), and then hopped across the road to The Berkley to meet my Dad for lunch. To be honest, unless my Dad had mentioned it, I would never have thought to stop into The Berkley to eat, but I was so glad we did.
