But I still adore Lush. I love their ethics and their pioneering methods for packaging-free products. I love how a simple bath bomb can really, truly, comfort me. So I thought, fuck it. I'm not dropping Lush from my blogging repertoire. But I do want to breathe a little life back into the way I talk about the newest collections and products. I want to make them more current-me-friendly. So welcome to one hell of a walk-through of my picks from the Lush Halloween collection for 2017.

Lush Think Pink Bath Bomb
Thursday, 18 May 2017
Did you know that Lush recently re-invented their classic Think Pink bath bomb?! I didn't until I spotted it in-store yesterday. Needless to say I snapped one up real quick. It was one of the few left in stock so I'm glad I got there when I did! I also got my hands on the glorious limited edition tote bag - finally using the gift card my Nan got me for Christmas!
Lush Shoot For The Stars

{ B l o g m a s :: day twenty one }
Another Sunday has passed, another Lush bath has been had. This time I used Shoot For The Stars!

Lush Never Mind The Ballistics Bath Bomb
Saturday, 3 December 2016
{ B l o g m a s :: day three }
Never Mind The Ballistics is one of the new additions to the core Christmas range at Lush this year and it's one that drew my attention right away. The design doesn't scream Christmas in the traditional sense like Golden Wonder or Father Christmas but I do think it's festive. It kind of reminds me of Nutcrackers and the kind of sweets you'd get in a pick-n-mix. It's quite simple but the vibrant colours make it exciting.
Lush So White Bath Bomb
Friday, 11 November 2016
Apologies for the poor quality of the first photo in this post - I wasn't planning on reviewing So White at all! I took a few photos of it on my phone for the ol' Instagram feed but had the good sense to use my proper blogging camera to take some in-action shots of it in the water, which I was planning on using in a Sunday Post or something. But it ended up being much prettier and more exciting than I expected and I felt So White deserved its own post!
Lush Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb
Wednesday, 19 October 2016
Lord of Misrule seems to be a real cult classic during Autumn/Winter and it's one that I've always kinda disliked. I used it once, back in 2013 I think, and always found the scent to be too spicy and smoky for me. I'm not sure if they've changed the formula or if my taste in scent has matured but I really like it now! It's still spicy and woodsy but I find it really warming, almost like mulled wine, but with the added sweetness of vanilla.
Lush Autumn Leaves Bath Bomb
Monday, 10 October 2016
Another Sunday has past and another Lush bath has been had - this time I used the Autumn Leaves bath bomb!
Lush Monster's Ball Bath Bomb
Tuesday, 4 October 2016
Obtaining and reviewing each of the Lush Halloween bath bombs was the final item on my September To-Do List and I'm happy to report that I semi-ticked it off! I purchased all of the bath bombs the day after they were released in stores but I've decided that instead of reviewing them all in one go, I'll post one review per week on the lead up to Halloween to make things a little more fun and festive. The first one I've tried was Monster's Ball, which sucked me in with it's super cute design and delicious scent.
Lush Avobath Bath Bomb
Wednesday, 8 June 2016
Well, well... it's been a while since I posted a Lush bath bomb review hasn't it?! This is mainly because up until about a month or two ago, I was still trying to make my way through all of my Christmas bath bombs and I didn't see the point in reviewing them in March and April! BUT I do miss posting my Lush reviews as they're always a lot of fun to photograph so today I thought I'd review a bath bomb I used a little while ago: Avobath.
Lush T'eo Deodorant
Thursday, 12 May 2016
I'm sure you guys are aware of my fascination with Lush's solid products. I've used their shampoo bars exclusively since 2013 plus I'm more than partial to their bubble bars. I recently made the decision to branch out a little more and to try products that I'm not as familiar with (which is what led me to pick up the Sugar Scrub) and this time around I decided to try the T'eo deodorant.
Things To Do With Your Empty Lush Packaging
Tuesday, 12 January 2016
One of the things I love most about Lush is their super ethical take on packaging. Around half of the products on offer can be taken home completely free of packaging, not to mention the genius shampoos, deodorants and bubble baths that come in bar-form rather than liquid inside a plastic bottle. When they do use packaging, it's ethical, too - around 90% of it can be recycled. This includes the infamous black pots that a lot of the skincare and body care products come in. But what else can you do with your empty packaging aside from popping them in with your recycling? WELL I'M HERE TO TELL YA.
Lush So White Bath Bomb
Saturday, 19 December 2015
So White appears to be a real Cult Classic for Lush at Christmas Time, yet it's a bath bomb that I'd never tried before this year. I feel like the reason I never picked it up is because of it's innocent white exterior - it looks especially plain when stood next to something like Golden Wonder or Father Christmas. But I was determined to try all of the Christmassy bath bombs this year so I got Luke to grab me one whilst he was in town a few weeks ago.
Lush Yog Nog Bath Bomb
Friday, 4 December 2015
Last year, I fell in love with the scent of Lush's Yog Nog soap. It's very unlike anything I usually like (I'm a sucker for anything sweet), but it's warm spiciness drew me in. I didn't pick up any of the soap because I knew I'd never use it, but when Lush released a bath bomb this year with the same name and scent I couldn't say no!
Lush Star Dust Bath Bomb
Tuesday, 24 November 2015
Fiiinally I've gotten around to talking about some of the Lush Winter 2015 range! I did review the Sparkly Pumpkin bubble bar a couple of weeks ago, but as it was part of the Halloween collection I don't really feel like it counts. I just felt like talking about the two bath bombs I'd bought in October was a bit too early. So here we are in late November!
How To Use: Lush Bubble Bars
Sunday, 8 November 2015
If there's one thing that confused me about Lush when I first discovered them, it was how their solid products worked. Bubble bars, shampoo bars, deodorant bars, massage bars... you name it, Lush has probably got it. Out of everything, the one thing that confused me the most were the bubble bars. According to the sales assistants in Lush, you're supposed to crumble a chunk of bubble bar under running water. But I don't have fancy taps that spout warm water - I have a hot tap and a cold tap and I didn't fancy sticking my hand under either of them. I've since worked out a few ways to use the bubble bars, and today I thought I'd share them with you!
Lush Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar
Wednesday, 28 October 2015

Whenever I go shopping with my dad I always exclaim "omg look how cute!" about a load of different things and he always replies with "how can a face wash be cute?" or "how can a candle be cute?" and in some cases I think he's probably right but in this case... HOW CUTE IS THIS BUBBLE BAR? It's a lil pumpkin. Adorable.
Lush Sugar Scrub
Saturday, 10 October 2015
I love scrubs. If I could choose only 5 beauty products to use for the rest of my life, a good body scrub would be in that list for sure. My skin isn't particularly flaky but it can get really dry, especially during the winter, and as I don't use body lotion I rely on scrubs to keep my skin feeling silky smooth. Judging by my success with the Lush solid shampoo bars, I thought it was about time to branch out into their body care. I picked up the Sugar Scrub, which is a solid body scrub made up of sugar, grated ginger and fresh fennel.Lush The Experimenter Bath Bomb
Monday, 28 September 2015
I feel like The Experimenter is the 'it' bath bomb from the Lush Summer Collection... at least as far as Instagram is concerned! It's so colourful and is such an exciting one to watch that it was really difficult to decide which photos to feature in this post. It's also very aesthetically pleasing when it's not dissolving - it's shape is very different to anything I've seen from Lush before, and the bright colours give a little insight to what's waiting inside. The scent of this one is also quite nice - it's quite woody and smoky but the vanilla makes it more pleasant. Definitely not what I usually go for, which would be something sugary sweet or fruity, but I quite liked it.
Lush Intergalactic Bath Bomb
Tuesday, 8 September 2015
It's been a long time since I've been really wow-ed by a bath bomb. I went through a huge bubble bar phase at the beginning of the year but when the Lush summer collection dropped in stores a few weeks ago it re-ignited my passion for a good bath bomb. I've already used Frozen and Yoga Bomb and loved them, but Intergalactic is on another level.
Lush Brazilliant Shampoo Bar
Saturday, 22 August 2015

It wasn't all that long ago that I bought Jumping Juniper, but my mum sorta accidentally DESTROYED it. (She left it in a tub under a leaky shower head. It essentially melted.) So whilst I was in my new-Lush-bath-bombs euphoria a couple of weeks ago, I managed to regain something resembling common sense and picked up a new shampoo bar. I was drawn to Brazilliant, a vibrant orange shampoo bar that strengthens hair. My hair isn't particularly damaged (nor is it curly/thick, which is what this product is meant to be for) but I thought that it's strengthening properties might help my fine, flat hair in some way. Plus, it smells divine.
