Goodreads Reading Challenge: Completed
Thursday, 22 October 2015
I just completed my Goodreads reading challenge for 2015! Meaning I've read 25 books this year. I feel like this might be an odd number to a lot of people - some people have probably read twice as much, some people have probably read half as much. But 25 was a good number for me.
Opening Up
Tuesday, 13 October 2015
This post wasn't supposed to be part of my scheduled programming for this week. In fact, I sat down intending to write something completely different but a few things have happened over the past few weeks regarding this topic that have actually really upset me and I feel like I just need to let it all out.
The Mad Hatters Tea Party
Tuesday, 25 August 2015
On the 16th of August, my little sister Leigh turned 8 and to celebrate the occasion, my mum and I threw her a tea party! I had literally been planning for weeks in advance, and spent so much time rummaging around in charity shops and car boot sales for tea sets. I was also on a really tiny budget as we were renting a church hall which cost a small fortune in itself, but it was all worth it in the end! I took some inspiration from Pinterest and also kind of made things up as I went along depending on what I found in stores. Almost everything that I got for the table was from Poundland, aside from the tea sets, tea pots and plates which I sourced from charity shops.
Flat Chested & Fabulous
Saturday, 18 July 2015
So today, I'm going to talk about boobs. Or should I say lack-of boobs. Yep, you read that right: todays post is all about us flat chested ladies.
My Nose Piercing Experience | The First Week
Friday, 10 July 2015
Well, this is a post I never thought I'd be writing. That's mostly because I never thought I would actually ever be sitting here with a piece of metal stuck in my nose, but there you go. Yes - if you follow me on any social media (literally any, I didn't shut up about it) you will know that on the 10th of June I got my nose pierced! *cue confetti and streamers* I thought it might be helpful/interesting to document and share what happened within the first week of having it done - both the good, the bad and the downright disgusting. I will just point out now: some details of this post are gonna be pretty gross, and I'm going to be talking about blood and needles and snot. So if you're a little sensitive (I know I am, and I lived through it blehhh) then feel free to click off of this post. Also just a little note: I'm typing this up pretty much exactly as I wrote it in my phone, so I'm going to be talking in present tense even though it happened ages ago.. I hope that's not too confusing.
Life Lately
Sunday, 28 June 2015
D'you know what, June has been pretty good to me. So many wonderful/unexpected things happened, big and small, so I thought that instead of trusting my memory to remember them, I'd write up a little post and share my happy things with you guys, too. A few of the photos above were actually taken in May (the first three, definitely. The one of Luna was taken back last September (!) but I Instagrammed it in June so ya know.)
Life Updates | Lambs, Luna & Blog Design
Wednesday, 6 May 2015
For some reason, I always go to start my blog posts by saying 'Yoooo' but then 'listen up, here's a story...' comes in my head afterwards and I think it's too weird. (If you have no idea what I'm talking about, here's a link to the song)
I was scrolling through my iPhone photos a few days ago (I was stuck somewhere with no wifi..) and realised that I had so many photos that I could share with you! It's been a while since I've done a life update post, so I have plenty to talk about.
My Experience Contacting The Samaritans UK
Wednesday, 15 April 2015
[The Samaritans is UK/ROI service]
Hello everyone! Todays post is going to be a little bit different than usual, but I feel like it's a subject that could potentially be quite helpful to some people. I'm going to be talking about the Samaritans, which is a support service for people with mental health issues/people who are having a hard time. During March this year, something happened in my personal life that I needed some help to deal with, so I reached out to the Samaritans through email. Today, I thought I'd share my experience and raise some awareness for the service. Also, just to make you guys aware: you don't have to be suicidal to contact the Samaritans. You don't have to have a history of mental health issues. I wasn't feeling suicidal when I contacted them at all, it was mostly because of anxiety reasons.
Updates | Life, Blog & New Things
Friday, 6 March 2015
For reasons that I'm sure you'll gather from my Twitter feed, I decided to take this week off of blogging. But I still have plenty of things I want to talk about and share, so I thought I'd just sit at my laptop and type up an Updates post to fill you guys in on some things that have been happening recently.
What I Got For My Birthday 2015
Monday, 9 February 2015
As my 'What I Got For Christmas' post went down so well, I thought I'd do a little 'What I Got For My Birthday' style post. I sometimes treat this blog like a diary, especially when it comes to personal things like this, and I thought it would be nice to look back on.
Swan Lake | Bristol Hippodrome
Monday, 12 January 2015
As I'm sure you can imagine, I was very excited when a pair of tickets to see the Swan Lake ballet by the Russian State Ballet Company was found amongst my Christmas presents. I've wanted to go the ballet for such a long time, and seeing Swan Lake has always been a kind of unrealistic dream. I've always been fascinated by ballet, and after seeing the albeit kind of bad movie Black Swan, I became a lot more intrigued.

LIFE
Well, well. What a year it's been for me. When I started this year I was suffocating from being bullied in college, my anxiety playing up and general 'What am I doing with my life?' breakdowns. The latter two are still part of my life today. But do you know what, I'm feeling pretty damn good. And I think that this blog is a big part of that.
What I Got For Christmas 2014
Saturday, 27 December 2014
Well, well - look at me uploading a post in the afternoon! I was planning on writing up this post as soon as I photographed it earlier but Animal Crossing life got in the way and here I am, typing it up at 4pm. Lateness aside, how was your guys' Christmas?! I had a very lovely three days: I went to a Church service for the first time on Christmas Eve, I ate three servings of roast potatoes on Christmas Day and I spent Boxing Day cooking a mock Christmas dinner with my Dad. I also opened some amazing gifts!

Updates | Luna
Sunday, 30 November 2014
I mentioned penning another post on my lickle Luna a few days ago in my The Happy List post, and a few of you said you were interested and I have so many photos to share that I did just that.
Updates
Saturday, 8 November 2014
It's been such a long time since I've just sat down at my laptop and had a general chat with my blog! Which is strange really, because the whole reason I started this blog after abandoning my old one was so I could treat it as a 'diary' of sorts, in order to share my life and loves and current obsessions to look back on in fifty years when I'm (hopefully) still watching old YouTube videos and playing Pokémon Pearl.

Meet Luna
Saturday, 27 September 2014
If you follow me on Instagram you might have already seen me pop up a photo of her, but I felt a full-on blog introduction was necessary. Meet Luna. My new little kitten. She is 9 weeks old and is black (dark brown in sunlight) with two white half socks on her front paws and full white socks on her back paws. She has the biggest green eyes, ever. And she's just so cute I just aydhfisdnvklsn. As a little introduction I found a tag named 'The Furry Friend Tag' and I thought it was adorable and very fitting for this post.
